A peek into my sketchbook with this spread pulled straight from the page featuring two unrelated studies sitting side by side: an imagined solitary tree in gouache, and some pears on the branch in watercolour and coloured pencil. No connection to the tree beyond both being green and working well together on the page.

I'd put this one in a kitchen or dining room, or anywhere you want to bring a bit of the outdoors inside.
